Jess, my younger sister was playing this game named Busy restaurant, one of the restaurant games on the internet. It was two hours that I was asking her to give me the laptop but all in a vain. I started feeling a bit restless (after all I was in such a hurry to do my work, but she won’t give me the laptop), so I scolded her and took the laptop.
The screen still read Busy restaurant and I could see the play button. I was wondering how can anyone play a game again and again? It was then that I felt the temptation to try my hand this game. I tried to resist it thinking that I have work but then ended up by clicking on the play button.
As soon as I clicked the play button, I got a description about the game. It said that we are supposed to run a restaurant which is generally busy. We even had targets to meet. We were supposed to greet the customers and escort them to their seats. Then we were to get their orders and serve them. In the end they would leave you with your money and you can proceed to the next person.
It was quite an interesting cooking game as it was very close to reality (at least it was not like those stupid racing games boys generally die for!). It forced you to come up with your managerial skills. When I played it for the first time I could not even complete the first level. This was like a challenge then. I played it again and again and finally reached the 4th level, when my sister bumped into the room. She looked at me and then on the laptop screen and started smiling sheepishly.
And then she just burst into laughter, it was then that I realized that it has been almost two hours that I was playing the game. All of a sudden I remembered whatever I have told my sister and all that I could do now was smile back. I just rushed back to my work and managed to complete it on time. But that day gave another dimension to my life. I no longer shout on my sister for playing games in fact I join her!
Over all playing Busy restaurant, one of the popular restaurant games was a great experience!

I found this article very insightful. Its unfortunate that some felt it was unfortunate that the article couldn’t have been more shallow, and of a different topic altogether.
